Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information (email address, name, and profile picture when using Google Sign-In)
  • Audio recordings and transcriptions you submit for analysis
  • Text content you submit for analysis
  • Analysis results and history
  • Usage data (features accessed, timestamps of interactions)
  • Device information (browser type, operating system)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process and analyze your content for manipulation detection
  • Store your analysis history based on your subscription tier
  • Communicate with you about our services and updates
  • Monitor and analyze trends and usage patterns
  • Protect against fraudulent or unauthorized access
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data according to these principles:

  • Free tier: Analysis history retained for 7 days
  • Plus tier: Analysis history retained for 30 days
  • Pro tier: Analysis history retained indefinitely
  • Account data: Retained until account deletion
  • Cached analysis results: Retained for optimization purposes

When you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated data within 30 days.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • Data encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols
  • Secure data storage through Supabase's encrypted database system
  • Secure authentication through Supabase and Google OAuth
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Access controls and monitoring for all data access

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI API for audio transcription and text analysis
  • Google Authentication for user sign-in
  • Supabase for data storage and authentication
  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Mixpanel for product analytics and sampled Session Replay. Product analytics is enabled by default unless you opt out through Privacy choices or a supported Global Privacy Control signal. Previously saved opt-outs remain in effect.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement on verified, non-sensitive public pages and for limited registration, checkout, and purchase events. The browser Pixel is not used on dashboard or analysis-result pages.
  • Layers for SDK session and public-page measurement, using canonical page URLs and limited campaign parameters. It is enabled only when both analytics and advertising measurement are allowed by your privacy choices. Layers session replay is disabled, and full query strings, referrers, advertising identifiers, and account or report IDs are not included in its events.

Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

Mixpanel page-view collection excludes URL query strings and fragments. We disable automatic input-event and rendered-text collection. Session Replay remains sampled at up to 80% of eligible sessions, but all page text and form inputs are masked and browser-console capture is disabled. We do not intentionally send submitted conversations, recordings, transcripts, analysis results, or journal content to Mixpanel, Meta, or Layers.

You can change product analytics and advertising measurement independently through Privacy choices. We do not show an automatic consent prompt. Advertising measurement on eligible pages is enabled by default in the United States; in other and unclassified locations, it remains off until you actively allow it. We also honor supported Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access your personal information and analysis history
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your analysis history
  • Opt-out of non-essential communications
  • Change analytics and advertising preferences at any time through Privacy choices
  • Choose local-only analysis without cloud storage
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

8. International Data Transfers

We process data in the United States and other countries. By using our service, you consent to your data being transferred to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
